move on

Life doesn’t and shouldn’t stop for anyone, and as long as you breathe, you must move ahead and continue to grow. There would be times in your life that would break you, hurt you, stop you, and may even pull you back into the past. However, the key is to find strength from deep within you and move on. Some people come in our life unexpectedly and stay forever while others come and go. In the journey called life, we would come across many people, and while some would stay till the end, others would play their role and wither away. It is part and parcel of life.

However, at times, we would have to part ways with someone very close to us, and it might get more difficult than you can bear. Whether someone close to you has passed away or the relationship ended, whatever be the reason for parting ways, it becomes too difficult to move on. As challenging as it may sound, it is necessary to find strength and move on. In such times, it is hard to believe that someone with whom you shared so many memories and possibly saw the future together is no longer a part of your present. Time heals everything, and you have to trust the process. It is the lessons learned from the mistakes and the experiences that you go through in life that help you become a better and wiser person.

Begin the New Chapter

As long as you are breathing, the story must continue. Just because someone you loved dearly is not the part of the next chapter doesn’t mean your story has ended. It will hurt a lot, knowing that someone close to you won’t be the part of the life you envisioned, but it shouldn’t stop you from fulfilling your dreams. If it is a broken relationship, a new relationship will blossom because, as they say – you don’t need to find love; it will find you. If someone close to you has passed away, the pain will stay, but it will also give you strength knowing that your loved one would always want the best for you.

Don’t live in the past

Most people who find it difficult to move on are because they live in the past. Whether it is the loss of a loved one or heartbreak, you need to embrace reality as it is. Dwelling in the past is not going to help you move on. Keep the memories of the past close to your heart as it would be, but make sure that you focus on the future. In the book of life, many new chapters would be added as you move on, and the onus is on you to ensure that it is the book you can be proud of at the end of life. Time is of the essence in life, and dwelling in the past and pulling yourself back from moving on is not only going to scar your fond memories but hurt you more.

Balance your emotions

Every human being on the planet is emotional, some are more, and some are less. Many people have better control over their emotions, while others are controlled by their emotions. Irrespective of which category you fall in, it is essential to be realistic and practical at the same time. If someone you loved has parted ways with you, it is natural to be heartbroken.

However, it is only natural for you to make decisions that are in your best interests in the long-term. You need to balance your emotions and not let it overwhelm you so that you can make decisions that are fruitful for you and help you get back on the right track. It will take a lot of courage and motivation, but stay determined and know that you deserve better. The efforts you make to pull yourself up and get on the right track would pay off sooner than you think and you will pat yourself in the back in the future for doing that.
