If You Deeply Observe, Everything is Your Teacher.

observe

If you are a keen observer, you will find life lessons everywhere. The key is to be willing to learn and grow. Everyone you know, meet, and come across in life is going through different struggles in life. There is a lot to learn from them if you deeply observe people around you, their struggles, and the way they handle their struggles. Often, you see a homeless person having a hearty laugh while sitting on the roadside, whereas a person sitting in a luxurious mansion is crying, lonely, and broken. If you are a deep observer, you’ll notice here that happiness is a state of mind and not always connected to materialistic things that most people associate it to.

Monetary success and freedom are important in life without a doubt, but what makes it worthwhile are our relationships, love, gratitude, and empathy. When you start to observe, there is a lesson hidden in just about everywhere you see. Learn the value of discipline from the sun that shines every day without fail or the mother earth that continues to give selflessly irrespective of how we treat it. If you have a pet dog, you’ll learn the lessons of unconditional love and loyalty. It is a well-known fact that dogs are one of the most loyal animals on our planet, and their love for their master is unconditional and beyond measure.

Our environment is full of teachers. It is the ability to decipher and decode the hidden lessons and meanings that can make all the difference. It depends on how keen your observation is.

Integrate the Lessons in Your Life

The true change occurs when you don’t only observe the lessons you see around but also integrate it into your life. You don’t always need a special source of motivation and inspiration to drive you, and something as simple as a bird working day in and day out for weeks to make a nest for her babies can move you. The ability to feel such an observation and internalize it is what can make a huge difference in your life. The qualities such as passion, discipline, determination, hard work, and so on, can be learned and integrated by the environmental influence itself.

Be Better Aware

A good observer is not only self-aware, but he is also keenly aware of others in the environment. The patterns, styles, and results observed from others behavior can be further filtered to integrate into our own life to produce a desirable outcome. It is what leads to becoming a better-aware individual. People become smarter and more mature with age because they are able to learn from their experiences and observations. The more you learn from others and the environment around you, the faster you will grow as a human being and as a professional. The key is to filter the good qualities from what you observe and only pick the best qualities and weed out the negative ones. It is a sort of ongoing learning process that continues throughout your life.

Be Open-Minded

Observing well helps us learn a lot and become wiser with time. It helps us embrace new qualities and life lessons that we can implement to produce positive results. There is something to learn from just about everyone you meet, everywhere you go, and everything you experience. If you are in a challenging situation, look at the brighter side. It enables you to unearth the qualities you didn’t even know they existed in you to get over it and come out successful.

Remind yourself of how many such situations you’ve successfully handled, and you’ll be proud of yourself. Has it made you wiser and smarter? Of course, yes. Be open-minded and get into the habit of analytically reasoning every situation and challenge you to come across; it will teach you a lot. Every experience, good or bad, has a lesson in it that can teach you a lot. The secret lies in being eager to learn.
