Be A Rainbow In Someone’s Dark Cloud
Be A Rainbow In Someone’s Dark Cloud
“Be a rainbow in someone else’s cloud.“
Every dark cloud has a silver lining. And sometimes, you should be that silver lining in someone’s life. Look around yourself, you might find someone in need of your help immensely. Someone, who needs you to be a rainbow in their lives after a torrential downpour. And guess what? You can be that human. Sometimes, you need to get out of your own comfort zone and look around for people who are not as fortunate as you. Kindness, generosity, and assistance don’t cost a thing if done with a kind heart. And if you believe in fate, trust us when we say this, your good deeds wouldn’t go unrewarded.
But how? How does one be a rainbow in someone else’s life? It is pretty simple- simply be there. Don’t think that you are responsible for someone else’s happiness for you aren’t. But what is important is that you be there when they need you the most. You can also try to be helpful, you know? Help them out when they need it the most. People get friends when their fortunes are shining bright in the sky. But how many would still be your friends after you have lost everything? You might or might not have experienced it but you do understand that most people leave. So don’t. The person you are trying to help needs you immensely, regardless of their fortunes. It doesn’t matter how old they are or what their financial stand is- you are there to help them out. You are there to bring about a positive change in their life. Never let go of that.
What does being positive entail? Well, it is simple. All you have to do is to stop negativity from flowing into their lives, through you. Be positive, think positive. They might be enmeshed in negativity throughout their day- be their reason to smile. Don’t be negative before them if you can help it. And even if you do, realize that every cloud has a silver lining. Just like you are there to help them out- there might be someone out there ready to be a rainbow in your life. Now, think about what you wouldn’t want your rainbow to do with you, and don’t repeat the mistakes with the person you are supporting.
It could be a friend, a lover, your child, a stranger. Make it a point to be helpful and kind to everyone. You never really know what they are going through, and your rude behavior might push them into depression further. If it is your child, don’t scream at them after a hard day at school. If they are your lover, hold them tight when they come in from work. You never really know what they might be facing everywhere, so don’t be the reason for them to sink into things even further. Your purpose is to spread a smile. To be there when someone needs you, and trust us, there would be someone for you when you need them too. You have to be a rainbow in their lives, for sometimes- you are all they have.
On several occasions, they might not even know of your existence. But that shouldn’t deter you from being a part of their lives. Don’t stop being kind, don’t stop being the good human you are. They need your help, and if it comes anonymously, so be it. You have to be a rainbow, and if you think that why should you take all the responsibility for someone’s welfare, remember that everyone on earth might think the same too. And then, you wouldn’t have anyone helping anyone out. People will continue getting more and more depressed, life would get miserable, and the general atmosphere would be one of doom and gloom.
You want to get rid of that? Help. Help anyone out. There are several charities scattered all around the country- be a part of it. Talk to your friends- see if they are fine. Connect with acquaintances- make sure that they are happy wherever they are. Remember, it isn’t always about money. Sometimes, it matters when you are simply out there for them. When you take time out of your life to help someone out, the Universe rewards you.
